Changing Diapers in Public Places

Replace them at home sometimes it is very inconvenient, especially if you have to change a diaper when you’re in public places like malls and shopping centers.

*  Find a strategic location for diapering your baby, like a table or floor which separate toilet and interference-free
*  Put the baby equipment such as cloth, diapers and lotions at some place within easy for you to reach.
*  Use both hands to hold your baby head and back while you put the baby
*  Change your baby’s diaper as usual you do at home. Make sure your do it with calm, not panic and rush. It would be better you do while humming or talking to soothe your baby.

Wearing Apparel

*       Do not do it in a hurry, because it actually can make your child struggling and refuse what you try to do
*       Do not force him to “go” into the clothing, especially if the clothes are too tight or fitted
*       Do it with a fast rhythm, but soft and not in a hurry, so that your baby can enjoy it.

Trimming Nails
*       You should do this when your baby is a sleep
*       Use special scissors for baby or small scissors
*       If your child awake suddenly, try to calm and distract him by telling a story or singing softly.

Giving Medicine

*       Place your baby lying when you give a medicine
*       Use the dropper to give medicine to your baby drops
*       Give your child’s favorite beverage after giving medication

Clearing Nose

*   Do it slowly and with gentle movements
